Montessori Amman Imman Project blog update
Dear Friends of the Azawak,
I hope each and everyone of you is enjoying life! We continue to make connections and spread a message of hope by telling the story of Amman Imman's work in the Azawak and how children around the world are helping. This is a message that touches hearts. As you tend to your families and friends this season, please remember the people of the Azawak. They desperately need your help!

* Downloadable Presentation Tools -
A new Amman Imman Powerpoint presentation, containing the latest information and photos of the borehole in Tangarwashane is now available. The script, contained within the presentation, is very detailed, and tells the entire story. You can download the presentation through this blog posting: http://montessori-amman-imman-project.blogspot....
Simple holiday fundraising leaflets are available for distribution. Printed on colorful paper, these leaflets, each with a picture from the Azawak, will make a nice complement to holiday craft tables. Please pass them out and encourage your community to pledge their end-of-year giving toward bringing water to the Azawak. * Ariane's Fall Fundraising Tour
On October 26, schools in the Washington D.C. area came together to celebrate the success of Amman Imman's first borehole and listen to Ariane Kirtley's presentation of the project. The festive event included music and student presentations. You can view a short video with excerpts from that evening's presentations at http://montessori-amman-imman-project.blogspot.....

Two schools in the northwestern corner of the United States are now helping the people of the Azawak. Find out what students at Harbor Montessori School are doing: http://montessori-amman-imman-project.blogspot..... Students at the Salmonberry School integrate Amman Imman through their thematic curriculum: http://montessori-amman-imman-project.blogspot.... /> The response to the Amman Imman project continues to reach out across countries and oceans. We now have a version of our blog and website in Japanese! Read http://montessori-amman-imman-project.blogspot.... to get a taste of what people are saying.
We now have 42 schools participating in the project!
* Partnership and Collaboration
Over the Thanksgiving holiday, volunteers from Amman Imman traveled with Tuareg music group, Tinariwen, hosting an Amman Imman table at four of their concerts. Participation on the tour brought Amman Imman into contact with many caring and thoughtful people who expressed interest in helping.
